Director's Biography
Mr. Diallo

Oumar Diallo was born on August 15, 1975 in Medina Gounass. Son of a sailor, he developed a passion for the maritime industry from a young age.

He began his career at MAGIC TOUCH, an American-Spanish charter company in Gambia, as a deckhand, then as a motorboat, speedboat, and sailboat repair worker. He worked there for about ten years before becoming a skipper. He then obtained a position as a sales representative at BACO SARL, a company specializing in industrial fishing and packaging. Due to his technical expertise and ability to lead an effective team, he quickly became commercial director. Under his leadership, the company experienced significant growth and gained a loyal customer base.

With a long career in the maritime industry behind him, Oumar Diallo decided to make his mark in the sector. He therefore pursued several professional training courses over seven years, between Senegal and France, to enhance his skills, add new competencies to his repertoire, discover new practices, and become more versatile.

What makes this man's story truly remarkable is that he climbed the ranks over several years with unwavering determination, great tenacity, and boundless willpower.

Leveraging his experience and expertise, the formidable businessman concluded the purchase of a company called ACCASTILLAGE PÊCHE CENTER, which he renamed SEN AVENIR PÊCHE ET ÉQUIPEMENT INDUSTRIEL, based in Saly-Ngaparou. The company's purpose, both in Senegal and abroad, was the sale, purchase, and marketing of all products and equipment related to fishing and nautical activities in general.

A visionary and entrepreneur, Mr. Diallo did not stop there. He decided to open his second company called SEN MATÉRIEL DE MANUTENTION ET ÉQUIPEMENT. The company specialized in the sale and distribution of lifting and handling equipment for the naval and industrial sectors.

After a few years, Oumar Diallo was determined to expand and develop his business further around the world, in all areas of the maritime sector. First, he acquired the company ACV (Les Ateliers du Cap Vert), where he served as Chairman and CEO (2018 - 2020), specializing in shipbuilding and repair work, salvage operations, and underwater activities. He thus contributed to the modernization of ship repair infrastructure, strengthening the company's position in the national maritime landscape.

He then created the company SEMI SARL (Sen Équipement Marine et Industriel), a complete and structured enterprise, a leader in its field, the result of 25 years of experience.

In 2023, he joined NAEI AGRO SARL as Deputy Director and Strategic Advisor, where he provided significant support in management, business development, and the optimization of operational and commercial processes.

Determined, unstoppable, and unwavering, Mr. Diallo is always seeking the best service for his clients and collaborators, while also contributing to the development of his country.

Beyond the maritime sector, Mr. Diallo, passionate about real estate, began his activities in this field with the creation of TERANGA IMMO LUXE.

Outside of work, Oumar Diallo is passionate about the sea and sailing, sports, horseback riding, and is also involved in environmental protection and social aid activities.

He served as Vice-President of the Cercle Voilier de Dakar (CVD) from 2020 to 2021, where he actively participated in the management and development of the sailing club.
